StarFest 2022 (Cranborne Chase AONB Dark Skies Festival)

21st - 26th February 2022

Yes, that’s right, it’s happening again! In excess of 1,500 people took part in last year’s festival and this year the Cranborne Chase AONB team hope to match that or go one better.

Star Walk Stories – Adventures in the Night Sky with Lizzie Bryant - Saturday 26th February 2022, 7.30 - 8.30PM

You will be transported back in time as Lizzie draws on her love of dark skies and traditional sky knowledge, to bring you a fantastic night-time tale. For more information visit the event webpage.

 

Shaftesbury Book Festival - Reading the Land

11th - 13th March 2022

The theme 'Reading the Land' is an invitation to share in the passion, experience and insight of the festival's authors as the festival explores the best of nature writing. "We hope to stimulate positive ways of living with nature, and encourage the audience to share our passion for the landscapes, coasts, and flora and fauna.”
