Welcome to the Cranborne Chase Landscape Trust

CC AONB Location 2The Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) stretches across parts of Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Somerset, with rolling chalk grassland, ancient woodlands, chalk river valleys, steep escarpments and downland hillsides, each with a distinct and recognisable character.

This heritage is alive and active today with rich and diverse wildlife, attractive and friendly villages, popular tourist attractions and farming and land management that continues to maintain and shape the landscape.

The Landscape Trust works to promote awareness of these treasures, encourage their enjoyment by both local people and visitors and secure their protection, enhancement and productive use for future generations.
